Touch Games is a series of three software programs with educational activities for children using a touch screen or a mouse for the first time. The games are ideal for individual, one on one and group use or in a free play environment. No reading skills are required to play and the visual presentation has been designed with simplicity in mind for those with learning or visual impairments. The easiest games simply require the child to touch or click on something on the screen to get a noisy animated reward. More advanced activities test color and number matching and short-term memory skills using sound. Each activity has hidden adult options to allow you to change the level of difficulty. Touch Games are compatible with Windows 95 or higher and Macintosh OS 7 or higher.
Touch Fun Fair develops cause and effect, visual discrimination/matching and mouse skills. Ghost Train: Look behind the door if you dare; Coconut Shy, throw the balls and smash the coconuts; Darts-throw the darts at the cards; Ring Toss, move the hoop over the goldfish bowl; Grab Toss, touch a barrel to pull out a prize; Sound recognition activity; and Bumper Cars, color and number matching activities.
